Atmospheric Science
The Atmospheric Science program, jointly sponsored by the departments of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences and Geography, conducts interdisciplinary teaching and research in Earth’s atmosphere, its processes, the effects other systems have on the atmosphere, and the effects of the atmosphere on these other systems. Co-op opportunities will enable students to assist, and be part of that research, and participate in various other industry initiatives that focus on understanding the Earth’s biomes and ecosystems in greater detail.
